Release / Feature Team Producer (Scrum Master) · SciPlay
Progressed from Tech Lead QA through Release Producer to current Scrum Master role — took two cross-functional teams from ~30% to 98% on-time sprint delivery through continuous improvement and persistent communication.
Flagship title
Flagship title
SciPlay's flagship social-casino title — 200+ slot machines, mobile-first on iOS and Android plus Facebook. Live-production, high-volume release pipeline. My work has run across three roles on this title.
SciPlay portfolio also includes Jackpot Party Casino, Quick Hit Slots, and Hot Shot Casino.
Progression at SciPlay (social-casino gaming — six years, three titles)
- Technical Lead Software Quality Engineer — led software quality across multiple teams on Gold Fish Casino. During tenure, no escaped defect required a hotfix. Mentored other QA engineers and authored the process and testing-flow documentation the team still uses.
- Release Producer — single point of release coordination across 5 development teams shipping to Gold Fish Casino. Owned the release-readiness signal for leadership (advised on state of the pipeline; leadership called go/no-go). Brought order to a complex, high-volume live-production pipeline.
- Release / Feature Team Producer (current) — serving as Scrum Master for 2 cross-functional teams, 14 people total.
What’s changed under my current teams
- On-time sprint delivery: ~30% → 98%
- Continuous improvement discipline — retro actions actually shipping the following sprint, ceremony effectiveness measured and tuned, sprint velocity trending up sustainably
- Persistent, honest communication — teams, stakeholders, and dependencies aligned so problems surface early instead of at the deadline
- Delivery predictability and backlog health treated as ongoing practice, not a one-time cleanup
AI-augmented delivery
Built custom AI agents that remove delivery busywork from the day-to-day (release notes, sprint status compilation, stakeholder reporting). Authored an AI prompt-governance standard for the team so these tools get adopted safely and consistently, not ad-hoc. Pairing strong agile fundamentals with practical, well-governed AI is where the next real gain in team performance comes from.
