Example output

Give the next reader the context they need.

A ticket dump is a starting point. The useful report explains progress, risk, ownership, and the decision needed next.

Before and after: a raw standup and Jira dump turned into a structured stakeholder report
Existing product demonstration. The person sending a report reviews its facts, status labels, and judgments.

The recurring reporting problem

Pull updates from Jira. Add team notes. Rebuild the same story for leadership. I have written that night-before update enough times to know how much effort goes into assembling it.

When standup notes, risk registers, and status reports start independently, context gets lost between them.

The design

The outputs feed each other.

ScrumReadout connects recurring delivery artifacts so the next report can build on the work already done.

  1. Team and ticket data Board hygiene and updates
  2. Risk register Owner and early warning
  3. Stakeholder update Context and decisions
  4. Review and send You own the judgment

Make risk traceable.

A stale ticket can become a tracked risk with an owner and an early-warning trigger, then carry into the stakeholder update.

Carry learning forward.

Standups feed the risk register, retrospective actions feed planning, and the plan informs the next update.

Human review

AI drafts. You own the report.

The prompts help turn rough inputs into a structured draft. The person using the toolkit checks the facts, corrects the language, and decides what the audience needs to know.

That responsibility matters most when the report contains a forecast, an escalation, or a claim about what has shipped.

Product background

Built for peers to use.

All eight assets are free through an email signup. The useful test is whether they help during a real sprint.

The product draws on my experience running ceremonies, cleaning up boards, escalating risks, and writing delivery updates. It is an independent project informed by that work.

Try it with your next delivery update.
